Program Details

Develop your gardening skills and enjoy the benefits of learning outdoors in our Gardening @ Meadows program. This practical, hands-on course is ideal for anyone interested in growing plants, improving their gardening knowledge, and connecting with others in a friendly community setting. Participants will learn a wide range of gardening skills, including the safe use of gardening tools, soil preparation and health, watering techniques, plant care, pest management, propagation, seed saving, composting, and planning seasonal crops. The program also explores sustainable gardening practices, wildlife-friendly gardens, and the physical and mental wellbeing benefits of horticultural therapy. Whether you're new to gardening or have previous experience, this welcoming program provides an enjoyable opportunity to build practical skills, grow fresh produce, care for the environment, and work together as part of a supportive community.
